Hey Everyone,
what a great site...glad to have found it. I bought my Silver S2000 (2001) about 8 weeks ago - well I guess I should really say, I took delivery of it 8 weeks ago. I waited about 3 months for it. I actually worked for an Acura Dealership for just over a year part time, that is when and how I fell in love with the car. My plates say LESISMOR - for 2 reasons 1) My name is Lesley and 2) the car is small so it suits the saying Less is more! I have red interior and added the security system, 6 CD changer, rear fender flares, front chin spoiler and black emblems. I LOVE my car. I do a lot of driving for work, so I figured why not get a nice car. I'm young too, so most people have a hard time believing its mine, but hey, I work hard and think its worth every penny! I would like to get into showing it a little or racing it. I did some driving courses through Acura and loved it. If anyone can help me out a little, let me know!! My email is lemeier78@hotmail.com

Welcome Lesley. Us Toronto S2K guys (I haven't met any S2K gals in TO yet - you are the first) try to get together for a run through the Forks of the Credit every once in a while. Mike (aka Mindcore) or Ed (TAMS2K) usually gets the ball rolling for these informal gatherings. Given my crazy work schedule, I have only made it out twice. Keep an eye out on the Car Talks forum or the Events Meets forum on this board for upcoming gatherings.

Welcome! If you want to post pics, you first need to have a site like www.photopoint.com to store your photos and then all you have to do is copy and paste the URL. When you go to post, just click on the button that has IMG. . .a box will appear and you paste the URL there. That's it!
Again welcome and enjoy your S2000! I've had mine for nearly a year and absolutely love it! I have 29,000 miles on mine and believe it or not, it's my second car. . .guess that really tells you which one I choose every morning!
Also, while on the plates. . .my license plate reads TYMEFLYS.

For those in the Toronto area, I believe there was one...please tell me when and where you meet, I'd love to hook up!
And, yes, I'm somewhat computer illiterate (just a little) - how "exactly" do I post a picture? I have pics saved on my computer as jpegs....so now what?

PS. does anyone have problems unsnapping the cover for the roof when its down and you're ready to take it off?

No you can't host them from you hard drive, they have to be on a webserver somewhere. like your own homepage, or services like Photopoint. once you get that far, try a search on the topic and there are step by step instructions.
P.S. I got your email, everything should work as soon as Rahul adds you to the list.
I'm gonna be away next week but hope to get something going when I get back. As well there is an Autocross on Sunday the 29th at the Bronte Go station in burlington, that I may make if I'm not too tired, Most likely though Taylor, another S2K guy will be there. It's more fun the should be allowed
