NFR_AP2's 2004 NFR Build
The 9.5 +35 will definitely be a little much for spirited driving. If you're thinking weds you absolutely can't go wrong with the 17x9 +49 all around. You won't have to do anything crazy to your fenders beyond what you have now. If the old CE28s you had work these will too. I'm actually thinking of getting that exact Weds setup.
I've been reevaluating what I want with the car and I've finally convinced myself that it will never be a track car. Too expensive, almost too time consuming, and then there is the risk of screwing something up badly whether it be my fault or someone else plowing into me. I've finally decided it'll stay a nice weekend car that I do a lot of autocross in. I'm going to start building it for STR class as I have no desire to run R-comps and would still like to be reasonably competitive. I'm back to thinking of selling the HT. It does me no good for STR and my gutted soft top is technically illegal plus the money I make off it will buy me quite a few parts that will make the car even faster. Surprisingly I really miss the ease of being able to go top down.

Hey man! Thanks for the post. Weksos has told me now they will be here May 18th-25th. They keep pushing the delivery date back, so I've accepted the fact I'm going to be waiting. With me starting a new job, and looking for a house on my own, everything for the S has taken a back seat as of now. I'll post back once I hear more about the Volks :/
Well that sucks Weksos keeps pushing your date, but will def be worth the wait. Good luck with the house hunt and hopefully you have this thing together for the IA summer meet in Charlotte if you're planning on making that drive. Gotta see this in person, def a motivation for my car build.

Any news on the Volks delivery...anxious to see them with the ASM front end.
So a lot of stuff has been going on personally in my life, and I really haven't had any time for anything. The only thing car related that has happened recently is, I picked up a DD finally. It's a 97 civic hx. The S2000 can now because the weekend car/auto-x car that I have been talking about recently. Things are slow now, but I promise they will pick back up soon
