I mounted my front plate down there using the single lower mounting point for the stock plate holder and haven't observed any difference in running temp to date. For a CA plate I drilled a hole 11/16" right of center and down 5/8".

oh so you will only get a frt plate ticket when you're parked?? and they wont pull you over if you're driving without a frt plate??
