OMG not an S2000!? Blasphemy!
Nice car. Not trying to stir anything up, but i can't see why anyone would buy a z4 over an s2k. I've driven both and there really is no comparison. I guess the only 2 reasons i could think of is, 1)Their stuck on the brand, and want the status of driving a bimmer..or 2)never gave the s2k a chance, which probably comes down to it being a honda. This isnt a biased opinion either, cause ive driven a friends z4(the higher output version) on spirited runs, and i own an s2k...Sorry for going off topic, but i just want to hear other's opinions on this.
She has her reasons. She drove the s2000, and while she loves the way it drives she just found the Z4 to be more practical, and yeah there is a bit of brand loyalty there because she has owned two bimmers prior.
One of her biggest concerns is the interior of cars... and she found the s2k interior to be unacceptable. lol.
I'm just glad she didn't get it because when I pick mine up I don't want to be driving the same car.

I like BMWs and I test drove the BMW before the S. Real smooth and great driving but the killer for me was the driving position. I felt like I was sitting in the trunk. It's really far back and very low. The hood would slope up and it reminded me of being in a mini-viper.
I'd buy the Z4 just for the ease of DD. My S is the DD right now and it's fine, but since I'm in the car so often, I'd like a more luxurious interior and more sound deadening. I could do it to my S, but sometimes you just wanna buy it ready to go. Maybe if I start tracking the car, I'll fall in love with it again.
Nice car.
I drove the 2.5L as a loaner from BMW and it was a very fun car to drive. The M roadster/coupe must be a blast to drive, I just hate how the hoodline goes up instead of down, the styling is just not for me.
