Did you do the grinding because floor was uneven, or did you not want to mess with the Muriatic Acid?

 

Didn't want to mess with the acid. That, and grinding is better, quicker, and easier.

How do you guys like the colors that you coated the garage floor in? I had mine done, and it looks very similar to Joey's picture (maybe even a few shades lighter). I think the color I did was a "Whisper Grey". I absolutely love it, but my floor is very close to a white and it leaves tires marks in it like crazy. Every time I roll a car in or out my OCD goes off like Spidey Sense. I have carpet over my entire garage floor now because of this.

The one thing that I will caution you on is after a long driver when the tires are hot I park the car outside for a little bit before putting it in the garage. I've noticed that the tires have a tendency to bake into the floor, and those spots are a pain in the ass to mop off.

Both of your garages look great. I need to have someone build me a work bench / storage area now as well.

 

My color is much more "grey" than white. I know Ill be a bit paranoid about getting it dirty now that it's so nice looking, but it's certainly far from white like you're describing.
