[QUOTE=73Zero,Sep 11 2008, 08:57 PM] Oh, for gods sake.

I'm just curious, but what the hell do you guys care about what some folks choose to do with THEIR money?

The reason every has such emotion is because we love the car. Hands down. We don't like to see crappy versions of it hangin out which make them look less than what a factory brand new one would.

its a great car to begin with, if you wanna half ass it, keep it stock. It only takes one person to ruin the appearance of the whole group

Even something like this is ew

I did a quick google search and came up with this. I think these are the tenzo dc5's. They dont look too bad, and if u get lower offsets the will give the concave look.

Some of you guys are pretty hard on the OP, it's his money and the wheels dont look bad. When i had my s2000 i went through advan rg's, BBS RGR's, and Work VS-XX's, but if a cheap set of wheels came out that looked good with proper sizing i would definitely consider putting them on.

I still agree with AP2 S2K:

"This is why the decreasing cost of used S2000's are going to bring up more civic owners used to buying super cheap parts and destroying the true beauty of the S2000"

Next thing you know, we'll see tenzo seats, apc wings and tailights, body kits galore.

Ok well he made a thread out of curiosity so i just gave him my opinion on what he planned on getting. Trying to give him good advise since i myself did a horrible job on my first s2000 so thats why i bought another one and did it right this time. You save more money doing it right the first time, i wasn't being harsh at all.
This forum isn't harsh at all, if you think so go to honda tech and you'll see what harsh is
with Steve, totaly. Do it right the first time so you dont have to do it twice

I agree with this point too... But lets face it, the s2000 is falling into that category. It isn't holding its value like other imports such as the TT Supra, or FD.

Hell, I sold my s2000 for 9k in stock form. Thats LESS than some civics.

If you are really worried about others buying the same car as you and putting cheap parts on it, go buy a more expensive car.
