I agree with this point too... But lets face it, the s2000 is falling into that category. It isn't holding its value like other imports such as the TT Supra, or FD.

Hell, I sold my s2000 for 9k in stock form. Thats LESS than some civics.

If you are really worried about others buying the same car as you and putting cheap parts on it, go buy a more expensive car.
very sad to see this , New our car goes for close to 35,000. Thats alot of f-ing money considering the car will resale for 12k . Were ONE step away which is ONE step to far from the NSX which kept and is keeping their VALUE STRONG . To bad we couldn't fall into this category, because the s2000 is a bad ass car

I still agree with AP2 S2K:

"This is why the decreasing cost of used S2000's are going to bring up more civic owners used to buying super cheap parts and destroying the true beauty of the S2000"

Next thing you know, we'll see tenzo seats, apc wings and tailights, body kits galore.
i saw a sebring S2k driving around the other day with a supra knock off wing on it....the transformation begins

[QUOTE=velocityracer,Sep 12 2008, 10:54 AM] Ok well he made a thread out of curiosity so i just gave him my opinion on what he planned on getting. Trying to give him good advise since i myself did a horrible job on my first s2000 so thats why i bought another one and did it right this time. You save more money doing it right the first time, i wasn't being harsh at all.

This forum isn't harsh at all, if you think so go to honda tech and you'll see what harsh is
It's not doing it twice, i wouldn't use the forged rims on the street either way. I understand your concern for seeing an S2000 riced out or something. Also, i would NEVER buy an e-bay or discount brand turbo setup. When i go turbo it's either the greddy kit or inline pro for me.

Either way, good luck OP whichever route you take .

did they, or did the just file to clear their debt while still continuing business?

Apex-i filed like 2 years ago too, and they seem to be doing just fine now.
