Sorry I stand by what I say. None of their rims are to "my" liking. Spend the extra dollars and get some rims that were designed and made by the designer, not the people who ripped off the design and down graded it to what they are now.

for a person who is ranting about buying the real thing, and yet has no intention to fork up the money for the real ASM bumper.
....wait don't choke on your own words now!
...and we wonder why decent JDM shops are closing down...
i don't have any problems with folks that want to save money on rims or any aftermarket part for that matter. everyone wants to save as much $$$ as possible for any given deal. I just don't like it when people buy knock-offs of authentic products because they are in fact not supporting the businesses that came up with the design in the first place.
So yeah, you save money but it's a fake. would you buy a fake S2000? yeah i know there isn't a fake S2000 but if there was one, would you get it? it's a matter of principles folks. i guess some folks don't have any...
who ever said that the SSR SP1's are not the real thing can stick his head on his own ass.
i can't believe how authertic shops can let this go on without any repercussions. i suppose they're partly to blame for it...
To the OP: while i agree that it's your car and you should do whatever you see fit, i don't agree with most who support the Rotas.
summary:
buy inexpensive stuff to save $$$
buy knock-offs

^I don't make enough money to modify my car extensively but I do try to get the authentic parts. At least i think they are authentic.
I think the works S1 are not exactly the same--the spokes dont travel all the way to the lip of the rim allowing the rivets to go full circle.
i think I met you at the Flip Mode Meet in Mira Mesa Jollibee.
