Pics request of Rota D2 Gold on Yellow S2k

Buggy, I don't want to step on your toes but I would have to disagree.
There's numerous cases of Rotas with spokes craked off, face seperation, and chunks of the wheel severed apart. Although it may exist I've yet to see a Volk forged rim that has had this happen. The most I've seen on Volks even with if the wheel has suffered from a severe impact is a major bend on the point of impact which is much more safe then having the rim come apart.
If someone has a picture showing otherwise feel free to prove me wrong.
BTW your Enkei RPF1s are made with higher quality standards then Rota. Enkei is.

I just get annoyed when so many people are so quick to judge. Yes, Rota is lesser quality compared to those sets it copied. But some just people are not ready or willing for fork up the cost of the more expensive rims, and for some reason they are looked down upon just cos they bought ROTAs instead of the the real thing.
Even worse those poeple who comments on Rota and recommends to buy the real thing. Yet, they have many replicated parts on the S.
People keeps forgeting that not everyone has $2k-3k to spend on wheels.
The thing I have against Rota (and other companies who do the same) is that their mode of business is to directly copy the popular brands and models. Now don't go saying that there are duplicates of the same designs etc ... it's not the same.
Companies take the "foundation," if you want to call it that, of the design and twist it to represent their own brand/models.
Example: The E46M ZCP (or CSL) wheels uses a design that has been around for a long time. Yet they have made it so that when you see it, you would know it is the BMW ZCP wheels.
Then companies come along and due to the popularity take of from that design such as RAC RG4, Morr, HRE w/ their new line-up etc. etc. Each company puts their designs into it so that when you see it you KNOW it's RAC or Morr, or HRE.
What is Rota doing wrong? Straight copying .. no attempt to make it their wheel. This is call plagiarizing people .... and so how do get away with it? They make little LITTLE changes such as the location of the lugs compared to real Volks. They aim at nothing else then to straight copy.
Call it how you want .. (not saying all who buy them are posers) but Rota is aiming at nothing but that. Why can't they just make Rota wheels instead of sit and see what is the "hot" new wheel and replicate the shit out of that.
Smart business .. yes it is. Quality morals and ethics in their products .. definitely not.
I am not saying it's WRONG if you do not purchase super bling JDM wheels instead of cheapos. DO what you want with your money. If you don't want to spend money on wheels then hey whatever. I am just saying it's wrong for how Rota is approaching things.
dude, who cares? this topic will never be resolved and noone will ever agree on it. people are still going to buy what they want at the end of the day.
not only that, but this thread is old, and useless.

I didn't say its the same. I said, it seems like its the same rims just different versions due to different brand names.
btw I'm thinking of the starting the next Flip Mode meet in SD, but the other Jollibee location
hope you can make it out again next year.
