Pics & Vids: My S2K At Donnington GP Circuit
Hi Guys,
Here are some pics and vids of a trackday I did at Donnington yesterday. The car is a totally standard 2002 UK spec car that I have had for the past two months or so. I wanted to get on track to have some fun, learn the car and figure out where I need to put some money into it. Overall, I am really impressed with it - I think the money needs to go into some better tires, stopping and suspension and some track driving tuition - no need for more power.
Donnington is a fantastic fun track, although for some reason there were six pretty bad crashes that day - lots of red flags. No idea why as the conditions were close to perfect. I had one minor off myself when I decided to try the end of craners in 2nd in a wet bend, after a little 180 it all got back on plan without any damage thankfully lol. Sorry for the location of the camera, I borrowed my mates GoPro and we forgot to pack the correct mount, so the only place we could mount it was the passenger window, hence the A pillar being in the way.
Piccies:

It is always daunting when you turn upto a public track day and this dude is in the garage next to you - its even more terrifying when you look in your rear view mirror and see the ridiculous speed at which it approaches.

In one of the vids you will see a car upside down, here it is (with appropriate captioning). Thankfully everyone was ok (minor miracle as it wasnt caged)
