I think the biggest difference the plastidip gloss makes vs regular clear coat over regular plastidip is that it makes it 100x easier to peel lol. I used regular krylon clear gloss and it took me a good 4 hours trying to get all of the plastidip off of my rim haha. How many layers of glossifier did you use?

I picked up a RickS2K license plate holder just recently, thought it'd look cooler plasti-dipped. Here are the results. (NOTE: the holder came with allen screws and bolts, not pictured, but will most likely paint them black like the ones you see here, just to match)

Great Idea. I'm going to do that next.

Looks like some of you are doing more with the plastidip than I have, but I did finally get around to doing my emblems this weekend. I'm really happy with how they turned out... I'm at work and only have a rear shot but it gives you an idea of how it looks. I honestly think Honda should've put black H emblems on the CR's since all of the other badging is in black... just makes sense. Luckily I've rectified that problem

Thanks! I used 2 full cans on the wheels and about 1/2 of a can for the emblems. 3 cans will be more than enough. (I also sprayed a couple coats on the inside of the wheels to make everything look uniform close up)
