Here is an update for those of you who may care... Fonzie is no longer producing or selling custom colors...after a couple of weeks of trying to get this accomplished, they contacted me today to let me know that the only colors they would supply are currently on the dipyourcar.com site. However, after speaking with the good folks at plasti dip in Minnesota, you can create your own color very easily...you just purchase the clear plastidip and then go to Sherwin Williams and ge any enamel or solvent based paint tint and add it yourself. So if you don't want matte black or Monster Green...you can get just about whatever you can think. I am going to do the entire car and the wheels, will need to wait a bit so the weather gets HOT.

Why what are you wanting to do?
I have been waiting on my 2 gallons of white and spray gun for going on a month now. It is getting slightly ridiculous. But thankfully I have not had time to paint it anyways. But whenever I email the company they email right back. So great customer service so far. They said they are getting paint guns that are made for plasti dip is what the delay is on my order.

Oh my god, I just checked and my order shipped. Well looks like I will be able to paint the car next weekend because I have drill this weekend. Freaking army!
Thanks for your service! Who did you order it from? What company?

more than familiar...took a month to get an answer from Fonzie and his Customer Service guy Bennett. They used to mix custom colors, and I was trying to get a question answered...but took a month. sounds like they handled you a bit better. Make sure you let us know which sprayer they send you...

well in all fairness, i emailed them about a week before i got the kit asking if the car needed to be claybared or anything, and i still have never recieved an email back from that. but once you order something and put your order number in the subject line of the email it goes to the top of the pile or something.

If I knew you could mix your own colors so easily I probably would have messed around with that instead of going white. I've heard white is harder to spray than others. Hopefully spraying with a decent turbine HVLP gun help. It's gotta be better than spraying with the guns that dipyourcar sells anyway.
