anyone tried the new plastic dip in gold?

 

I'm going to try to pick up the gold metallizer soon and maybe the gloss too.

 

i wanna do my ap2v1 in gold. might pick some up today and try it out.

 

Plastidip should come out with a berlina black LOL

Where can I buy this stuff? Is it a spray or paint? I'm located in new York

 

you can but it at lowes or home depot, it comes in both stray and a liquid form. you want the spray can. my mirrors and emblems have been done for about 6 months now and no rock chips or anything. you have to remember when durability is concerned that it is ribber in a can, it is not like paint it has a good amount of give in it. i have been considering doing my entire car white and seeing what it turns out like. buddy of mine did his rx-7 and it looks pretty good. when doing large panels you must apply it in thick coats, otherwise you get the streaks in it.
