Dangerous. Hate to be captain buzzkill here but that's not safe. At least you can show your insurance how you manage to crash your car in the rain.
he seemed to be pretty well in control, wasnt in vtec in the corners, and wasnt going unreasonably fast

i only watched a minute of it though- did it get crazy?
When he was driving on the wrong side of the road during a blind corner, any correction will lead to a nasty crash. So yes.

I'm 47 and have learned a lot over those years. Driving like that in the rain... It's not going to take long! Just hope you don't hit one of those roadside poles!

You must have a weird definition of blind corner. Either way, just because someone is more adept to car control doesn't mean its RIP for them. Everyone has their comfort zone and limit of ability, just stay in yours. cheers

It's not so much car control that's in question here. It's the variables that could change it. You don't know if there's a puddle in the road, or even an oil spot. You're putting too much at risk. Honestly, I would have just gone to an empty parking lot and done this instead, that way nobody is in harms way. But since you made it back in one piece, just consider yourself lucky. Others, not so much.

You are correct, and I always take such factors into consideration. I drive those roads damn near daily so I know where all water buildup is, extra slippery spots etc
