Nice work. Did you strip the rims, or just coat over the clearcoat? If you stripped them, what did you strip them with?

Yes, they have powder additives that will dull the finish. Basically, you would have a silver basecoat, and a dull clearcoat....the result should be pretty close to the above picture.
