hey guys, i'v had prm intake for a while now, and man is it ugly under the hood. so i spiced mine up a bit after reading another post about a guy painting his. just curious if anyone else has done the same? got pix?

Whoa, that looks better than I would have thought. I like the valve cover color theme carried over to the intake. Maybe I'll do the same on my AP2, red and gold???

 

Does that thing use an air filter?

 

the air filter is enclosed, Cotton gauze type like the K&N,

 

i also have one of those cusco air diverter plates that i'm thinking about taking a sander to and painting. havent decided what color yet tho, still waiting to get her out of storage.

I still can't get over the fact that it looks like you hooked up a muffler to your intake. Are they loud? Functional?

 

i remember these , are they functional ? i remember they sounded great and looked crazy but dont remember if there were any gains
