PRM Intake
[QUOTE=s2kobsession,Mar 10 2008, 12:18 PM] the original filters of prm intakes lost power because they were too restrictive. The 2nd gen filters have the problem fixed and have shown considerable differences.
If you look on PRM's website, they sell intakes for many different cars.

The intake tube is flawed, its to damn big to make any power. Now I'm not sure when the 2nd version of the filter came out, we did the testing in 07, but the filter was NOT the problem it was the tube. The thing has not been selling successfully for 6+ years. Only a hand full of people on the boards are running them, and for good reason, they lose power vs stock.

haha......although i really didnt like the FIPK....needless to say i switched back to stock and love it!
well i'm still not complaining about a few hp gain or loss, either way it looks crazy and sounds even better. thats more important to me than being the fastest car ever. Now back to topic, this was started as a thread for custom PRM's...not a hate 'em/love 'em thread. So is anyone else out there running a PRM that has some custom work done to it?
