you guys void the bbs warranty by messing with the finish or un-doing the bolts. bbs never reuses the bolts.

u wouldn't be so quick to disassemble and mess around with these wheels if you were the one forking over $800 per BBS LM fresh outta japan's foundry full covered by its wonderful warranty

so just don't play it off like you had much to lose anyways since you bought them used from your boy and he bought them off me and i bought them off my boy many yrs ago.

the wheels came out pretty decent

If I would have bought them new then I wouldn't be bored of them since I have been looking at these wheels for almost 3 years now, which is why I chose to do something different with them. The price has nothing to do with it, the car is a 34k dollar car and I don't think twice about taking it apart when I want to Mod it, much less a set a wheels. If you want to get technical I shelled out 26k when I bought my 04 and I don't think twice about taking things off of it and doing work to it, so why are a set of wheels such a big deal in comparison to a whole car?

If something does screw up I do have a lot to lose because I would have to buy an entire new set of wheels which is why I am being so meticulous with them on top of the fact that I am overly anal about what I work on anyway. My TE37's I bought brand new and they were just as nice of a wheel as the LMs in quality and finish, and lighter to boot. So who cares if I bought them from my friend or bought them new that has absolutely nothing to do with anything. If all you care to do is come into the thread to continually be negative why bother?

I mod cars, I take things apart regardless of price, otherwise I would just buy a car that is stock and roll around in it with a warranty.
