HMMMMM I Reaally like your idea of the subs in the kick panel. I had no idea there was room like that behind there. Does that area act as an enclosure? Any idea the cubic ft of that space?

Yes it acts like a sealed enclosure... now you will have to saw out quite a few inches of metal... look on my site for more detailed pics... also to ensure proper sealment of the "enclosure" you need to seal off the inside of it with dynomat so air doestn' get out which I found out does happen... the seals between peices of metal aren't airtight. As far as the cubic inches I foget how much was available... I did that part about 5 years ago and computed how much the 2 6" mid's needed and sealed it off at that point so it was at the right size... there is definitly quite a few feet of cubic feet in there so you should be able to use most any speaker.

HOT!

I first Illusion Audio subs in 2000 and thought they were awesome. They were maybe 2" total depth and were floor-mounted in the cabin similar to your setup. Talk about the right soundstaging.

I really like your audio setup. I especially like how clean the kickpanels and pillar trim turned out...very professional looking!

The subwoofer mounting scares me...

I am 110% SUPER IMPRESSED with your kick panel and subwoofer fabrication skills - would love to hear that in person. The dynamat is also very well done.

I love stealth systems that don't sacrifice anything and your speaker install really takes it to the max in terms of creativity - I love it!

My only grip is with the screen install since that really doesn't flow with the rest of the car's stealth setup. Why not integrate it into the dash?

My setup is completely stealth too but I do lose one corner of my trunk to a fiberglass box for a 10w6v2. Good part is it's portable and no physical cutting of the chassis.

You do lose your spare tire cavity while I can maintain my spare

Great job overall though,
rick
