I would like to weigh it all out front to back when I finish everything in the front to to see if its anywhere close to even. Im not to sure what all it will do for the areo of it... It cant be worse with the rear bumper already being a parachute.

And the engine bay is a long ongoing project as of now.. here is what it is now, well before this last part. So just imagine it without it.

sorry about the horrible picture.

or... what is the radiator doing in the front that it couldnt do in the rear?
It's getting fresh air in the front... in the back, it's picking up air from under the car that just ran by a 900degree exhaust...

the engine is now getting ambient temp air blown on it instead of heated air from the radiator.
Yah, but what actually keeps the engine cooler, radiator fluid or ambient temp air blowing on it? (I honestly don't know the answer, just posing it as a question.)

this puts more weight in the rear, less weight in the front, and more weight all around for plumbing and extra coolant.
Only if the car isn't moving. This much aero alteration of the car's front and rear can't possibly keep the downforce balance the same. And I dont' think its easy to overstate how much of a part aero actually plays in a car's weight when it's moving. Ask any racer... any real racer...

Still, a neat project! And great for starting a discussion!

ok now with the pic of the bay I'm more convinced.....that thing without the radiator and ITB's would be the cleanest engine bay ever.

Don't think anyone is hating it, just curious as to the advantages and disadvantages of the setup.
