yours came with rubber dressing? My Mugen rollcage got none

Install the pics on your rollbar already!!!

Don't mind me, just whoring out my Mugen

Mine went on about two or three months ago now. I haven't been pic whoring like I used to.....

....I was serious when I told you that I needed to step away from the car thing for a moment (if I don't, I think I may splurge and get the red prancing horse I've been telling you about). It's just not smart to get into that mess.

Once I get back from Seattle this weekend, I'll post some pics if I get a chance.

Spoke to King Motorsports, apparently the rubber hose is slit down the length and wrapped around the bar, the shape of the rubber keeps it tightly wrapped. I know Urmil did not have this experience so I'll try it and post the results.

Alejo,

Can I get that padding somewhere? I picked up a used bar that didnt come with the padding. I recall seeing yours at FnC 08.

elda/go-fast-labs is the best

mugen doesnt look too safe (ie: not safe enough to remove stock roll hoops,) doesnt meet any scca specs, removes access to the secret compartment, and gives you cheap plastic trim pieces that don't match the rest of your interior.
You must be kidding
I'm sorry but Elda looks like Home Depot project to me compared to Mugen
Here's detailed pictures of the Elda
Eldarollbar

Mugen doesn't meet SCCA rules because it's not intended to just as Elda wouldn't meet JRA rules in Japan.
If you took the Elda to a track in Japan I can tell you it would fail safety rules right off the bat do to it offering no RHD driver protection which is because the Elda diagonal bar is intended to protect a LHD s2000 driver only, not to mention whatever other standards they have such as bar material and diameter requirements.

How do you figure the Mugen bar isn't as safe and not safe enough to run without the stock rollhoops?
Unlike the Elda bar,the Mugen roll bar uses both of the two oem rollhoop mounting locations in the center on the cockpit on top of the added reinforcement of the outer mounting locations behind the seats making it safe for the driver and passenger.
Elda diagonal bar only protects the driver with that diagonal bar

Tubing? As in the foam cover? I had it but never but it on.

MedicalStudent bought mine and has at least 1 more. You may want to ping him. Feel free to PM me and I'll shoot you my phone number, maybe I can help.
