No, it's that difficult in the front. You might experience rubbing in the front w/ 17x9 +54's. And as far as the spoon caliper clearance goes, the 17x9 +54 barely clears, the +63 doesn't, so you'll need a 9mm+ spacer, making your wheels pretty much +54's. I want to run +54's but am worried about the rubbing. I'm considering running 245 tires front and rear because I don't think the 255's will fit. I'm going to talk to the local body shops to see how much they charge for a fender stretch/paint work before I order the +54's.
Thanks for the info, my plan is to go 17x7.5 +43 in front and 17x9 +54 in the rear. Also plan on lowering 1-1.5". Shouldn't be a problem with increased camber front and back right?

Thanks John, hows it goin!

I'm running falken azenis 255/40/17 all around street and track .

Guedo: Its kind of hard to say as there are a few factors you need to consider. Ride height, spring rate, damping, tire size, and sway bars, etc. But i'm guessing the euro spec alignment, being a stock spec alignment in a different country, isn't aggressive enough to prevent you from rubbing while running a 255/40/17 size tire in the front with 17x9 +63.

You can also run this set up with wilwood 6 pot calipers without any spacers (maxrev used to run that setup). I don't think you can fit any other bbk's under there though (besides the wilwood 4 pot).

Also check out www.maxrev.net for a full review and video .
What size rotors fit with the 6-pot or 4-pot under the CE's w/o spacers? Are the 6-pots that much better than the 4-pots, and how much more weight are the 6's than the 4's?

Thanks!

Also consider the tire being used, Falkens are notorious for having very squared off/tall side walls, which is what gives them a big contact patch.

what kinda clearance to susp are you seeing in the front?

im guesisng w/ those high rated springs u got a coilover setup as do i,(flex/edfc)

right now i have my meister s1 3 piece coming in ina week. 18x8 18x11.5 255/285
i was going to place an order soon on some vsxx tho and wanted 9.5 fronts.. (i dont want anyone offering advice on this/that ) i used to own a few shops and know what im doing.

just wanted to know coilover clearance on the 9+63 to see if i wanted to run that close to susp.. or have it pushed out a lil more away from coilovers since fender clearance isnt an issue.
