An additional "mod" just made is the installation of the Skunk2 Racing dual exhaust (70mm into dual 60mms). Yeah kinda loud but a whole lot of fun!

The shoes are Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212 (F205/55ZR16 R245/45ZR16)

A51_AP1,

HOO RAA!

txs2knoah, KnowledgeIsPower, han racer, and HONDA RR:

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah those plates get a lot of comments

medicalstudent,

Indeed Jim has a lot of hot mods including that Kraftwerks SC. His tweaks all point to the track use he makes of his S2K. Whereas my ride is geared towards retirement road trips / touring.

I love how you colored the AUT cooling plate the color of the car. It makes the whole thing look so clean.

Honestly, I'm simply NOT into the carbon fiber look at all. There is none on my car nor will there ever be. Guess I'm just an old fart who's old fashioned to boot

So when Import Tuning Garage offered a discounted CF AUT cooling plate with a slight weave imperfection that had been covered with a Sebring Silver paint job, I went for it. And the resulting look was better than I had anticipated. Like you, I feel it adds significantly to making the engine compartment look clean.

Man, I always knew that the self-employed controlled their hours, but sacking out all the time isn't something I would have figured to fall under that category! LOL GOTCHA!

Lovin' the new pipes. I had been VERY interested in the new Berk duals but their cost and titanium tips ultimately lead me elsewhere. I went with the Skunk2 Racing as I don't like the blued tip of titanium, like the Skunk2's 70mm into dual 60mm piping, 32 pounds total weight vice the 58 of the OEM system, the slight flared out orientation of the muffler cans/tips, very competitive pricing (got a great deal), and the fact that it is being paired with the Kraftwerks superchargers (Jackson Racing / Skunk2 personnel endeavour). Loud (very) without the silencers, tame with, minimal droning, a non-ricey deep basso throatiness, and dyno tests showing decent gains for a dual, actually quite similar to Berk's, made it my choice.

Finally popped after waffling for a set of hood dampers. Went with the NRG 1/2 pressure model in silver/chrome. Nice match for the engine bay

May need to remove those little black NRG stickers though....
