Just to get back on the subject, my rotas are 17x8 with +48 offset. My s2k is lowered 1" and it has never rubbed, even during cornering. I run 225's in the front and 255's in the rear. I have been running that set up for about 2 years now.

nevermind, you ****ing idiot, by all means put Rotas on your car, please do.

You don't have to own an S2000 to be an enthusiast, but just because you own an S2000 doesn't mean you are an S2000 enthusiast.

and to the person who said that Rotas are inspired by other companies, haha, inspired is a nice way to put it.

you say you don't have to get $3000 rims for this car to look nice, you don't have to buy any rims for this car to look nice actually, and apparently you don't really read anyone elses posts, unless it is following your own opinion.

so you don't have to buy $3000 rims for this car to look nice, you just have to pretend that you bought $3000 rims for this car to look nice? hmm...

anyone have pics of the c10s on the S,

What rims are on that black 350z?
They are P45R's according to their website. That same car is on the gallery page on the site. Here's a listing of their wheels:

Circa86- What's your problem? This thread was asking people to show pics of S2000's with Rotas and your on here as an "enthusiast" calling people F-ing idiots and F-ing Assholes and then advising how to get respect? Are you kidding me?Chill out. Why are you taking this personally?

Listen knocking Rotas for making replicas is ridiculous. Knocking them for making cast wheels, is even more ridiculous? So does Work on occassion and so does Rays Engineering (parent company of Volk). J's Racing basically knocked off Mugen on their hood, do you guys bitch about that? They stole two different designs to make their intake, do you guys complain about that? If you bust out a wheel catalog of every manufacturer you'll see similarities are everywhere. Rota provides a niche, affordable wheels at decent quality. They are on par with Konig and some other companies running around. I've had Rota Slipstreams on my CRX and they took a pounding. If you like the wheel and the design, it's an affordable alternative to the higher price brands, plain and simple. But don't think just because someone chooses to go Rota, that they a bad choice.

JDM S2000 - if you want to know if a particular wheel and offset will work just post them up in the Wheel and Tire Section of S2ki, many knowledgable guys in there.

Ding ding ding... if its "JDM" its okay to copy but if its from a company like rota VIS seibon etc it is the end of the world for some.

Well its not really about if it will rub when its lowered, its more about, if the wheels offsets are too far out, its going to rub everytime you take a corner.

So my real question here is will the rears rub with the 48 offset?

Someone who knows wheel chime in please.
I haven't had an issues with rubbing at all at stock height on a 245 series tire. The tires on now sit right at fender line.

Thank the LORD!!!

this rota vs "real wheel" was goes on everytime someone ask. It gets old. I mean, someone posted up saying rotas are crap cause they are replicas. His sig has work s1's or s2's on them. They like damn near CLOSE to the SSR sp1's. Is this a copy? i mean come on, wheels are wheels. There are so many similar looking wheels its not even funny.

I do agree that a set of VOLKS, WORKS or any other wheel company that makes nice forged wheels are better than rotas, but no need to bash on rotas imo.

And for the wheel with the rota breaking, those wheels are a mugen RNR replica, and the mugens break too....

Wow. A lot of hostility in this thread.

Here's my take on the whole matter. Are you willing to give me $3000 plus for a set of genuine Spoon wheels? No? Well then what right do YOU have to say what I should and should not have on MY car?

With that said, I love my Rotas. And here's some pics. They are 16x7 +40 in the front and 16x8 +48 in the back.

Don't like them? Then buy me the real deal.

And I'm sure we've all seen F1 cars break their wheels, right? So i guess no one should drive those awful things?
