S2000 goes Shelby
After I saw it at the SESM it was amazed at how good it looked...The pictures just dont do it justice...The hardtop you had on there really tied everything in togeather as well
The car's lookin Hawt!
I like it. I actually am not a fan of yellow normally, but what you've done looks good. The stripes break up the huge expanse of bright that would be there otherwise and I don't think they hurt the lines of the car at all. And I like the way you did the badges. With the paint continuing under them and following the bow of the H's, it looks more factory than if there was a gap around them (then it would look like vinyl again).
And while I do agree somewhat with what others have said about doing more to the car wheel-wise, etc., I think it's more that when people see any kind of custom paint work they expect to see a full-blown show car. It's not the equivalent of seeing an bonestock S-10 with flames and wondering why it doesn't have a 400 small block in it, but you get the idea.
Once again, I like it. It'd be one of the only ways I would want a yellow one. Also, I love your attitude and reading your posts.
Phil.

Wheels are next I guess. Although, I keep saying that then buy some more small peices that I "have to have." Track days have been eating up my budget though lately. I can easily say that the stripes knocked about 2 seconds off my time
It looks pretty good. I still think the lighter stripe over a darker color gives a better contrast. Maybe white over NFR - sorta like the Stradale. But unlike the stradale - you shouldn't have to pay $10k extra for a handpainted stripe. Sometimes I think the rich are running out of ways to spend their $$$
