This vid has been posted quite a few times on s2ki.

The E36 M3 is pretty comparable to a properly driven s2000...

The outcome of that vid is about equivalent to a modded s2000 vs a stock E46 M3.

E36 though vs s2000 is a drivers race. Or that E36 was heavily modded to put the stomp down like that.

 

do you guys consider supercharged S2000 as heavily modded? well, i don't since intake/exhaust/header mod doesn't really help S2000 much... However, I have tried to race with a E46M3 SMG II convertable with some N/A mod, we were almost even from zero to the beginning of 3rd gear, I know the convertable M3 is roughly 400 lb heavier than regular M3... but..!! I start to pull around the end of 2nd gear.....so, please definite the "modded s2000"

 

Because of the lack of torque the S2000 needs to be launched properly. A good launch is key when it comes to low displacement.

Better then building a "race" car and never take it to the track. **referring to my friends that have built a few hondas, nicely, and never tracked them**

 

that video is like 2yrs old, that was one of the first s2000 videos i dl when kazza first came out.
