Nice work! Your S2000 sure has come a long way! Are you going with stock side mirrors or are you planning on aftermarket?

Thanks bro, it sure did. After having the APR Mirrors on my Accord, I don't want to go back. They vibrate a lot at high speeds. For now, just OEM ones (putting them after the car is buffed), later down the road, some SPOON mirros sound yummy

Man this thread makes me really upset. . I truely miss this baby of mine, I still have it yet being parted out and not driveable. But posting an update of what actually happened to this. Main reason is because with my new project going on, people might be intersted in checking this one out too.

Here is the one and only nice shot of hers that a photographer took on top of PalomarMountain

So long story short, 2 weeks after I fully restored this car I was on my way back from work and it was raining pigs, cows, cats, dogs you name it . I turn left on a corner and next thing I know is a tan sedan is understeering into my lane. Touches me on the left fender and shook the car a bit. Trying to avoid hitting the curb on the right side of me, I over corrected it and due to the rainy weather the car spun out and next thing I know is im top of a big curb.

I put it in first gear to follow the guy who hit ne, but no luck. .

Broken rear axle, control arm, knuckle.

Here is how she looked after the incident.

rear suspension damage

The door, I kicked it becasue I was super mad :\

HELLAFLUSH YO!!

And after that I was worried that if that insurance totals the car, I would loose all my aftermarket parts, I started selling all of them. BIG MISTAKE. And I was 90% sure that it was totaled mainly becuase the salvage title not having much value.

I sold all my favorite parts, especially those floor mats. But I found out that they were going to pay me to fix it. That is when I decided that the car had seen enough accidents and I didn't feel like fixing it again. So I started parting the car out slowly and gradually. She still serves as my donor car for the new project, and helping another S get back on the road.

I WILL MISS THIS S FOR SURE,honestly a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into making her one of the best rides I have ever owned. Mainly becuase I did all the work myself, and I had bonded with the car

And for now this is my new restoration thread for another Ap1. Less damage and not so much of a crazy restoration. Yes still fun.

In the mean time while my other restoration project is in progress, this girl serves me as my daily driver and track/autocross buddy
