Whats up Paul. Heck, I didnt know you had a S2K either lol. Hit me up next time your in Montgomery.

I need to update the thread. We were blown out in December, I was only able to do a little to the car here and there.
Yeh man, purchased it a about 4 months ago. I sold most of the parts off the race car and figured I would get something that I could enjoy more often, plus it was getting expensive! I'll try to hit you up when I'm back in montgomery, glad to see the car coming along.

Paul

Just went through all the pages. Great progress and awesome job on everything! With the speakers though, if you want their "true" sound you need to change your deck (im sure you know). Alpines are pretty good. When i changed mine out i still had the stock speakers in, it made a HUGE difference on stock speakers, it will be awesome with those. Something to keep in mind i guess. Best of luck

what is that harness all about? is it just a stock replacement or some kind of upgrade?
It only runs through the door to connect the mid to the tweet w/ the inline crossover.

dennisp- Thanks. I looked at running the coaxials as well (I have these same seperated in the front doors of my truck, and the Alpine coaxials in the rear doors). The price on them ws just so close I went w/ the seperates, plus I really like the swivel tweeter.

Stephenopoly- Thanks

phampau- Sounds good man...and oh so familiar. I sold my race car chassis 12/28/10. Kept my motor/turbo kit and electronics. I've been debating ...build another street/drag Civic or REALLY build the S. This car is much more enjoyable on a more consistant basis. I could sell my D Series longblock and get everything I could want in the rear end/driveshaft of the S2000. Not that I would drag it, but it would eliminate the concern of breaking it.

9kred- Thanks. I am actually going to look at ordering an Alpine HU today.

I still need to get different seals for the roof. The ones that came with it are aparantly to thin. They left a tiny gap between the roof and sides of the car about 4" long....plus it makes a squeek noise that is faily irritating at low creep speeds.

Some mock up work from a few weeks ago...

Minor update
Got my new headlights in today...

That motivated me to take a break from working and go drive the car, which reminded me I needed to trim the rear bumpers a little.

minor scrubbing

Cut, just need to clean it up some
