I'm a little torn on whether or not to put the rear plastic "tray" back in. I dont know if the pieces would help dampen noise or just cause more noise from possibly vibrating against eachother.
I say leave it out. I had to remove my soft top fram numerous times and no matter how hard I tried the panels would rub and make noise.

The cabin may get a little louder but nothing crazy, still tolerable.

Great build, cant wait to see it finished

Thanks I'll definately keep that in mind. IMO, the road noise is less of a bother than the rattel/clap/squeek of the panels. I'll try them out and see how it goes. I have to get back by the paint shop to pick up the rear trim ring since it needs to bolt in first before everything else.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to try to get a little more work in on it today.

Jphoa - Yes, I got them from Dustin @ JLB. Great guy to deal with, he's helped me out on several builds over the years.

swifbboy Thanks, I was able to get the car itself right under $3k (I'd have to go back and look to see the exact$, it seems like its been so long ago )...which I've eclipsed that in paint material, roof, and bumper costs.
