This happened to me with my last car - drunk driver destroyed my car with his girlfriend's Jeep (he'd already wrecked his can and had a suspended license). He drove away on three wheels (the forth was lodged in my car), and fortunately another driver saw him and followed him.

Im currently fighting with the insurance company also. You have to bug the ever-living shit out of them to get them to do anything. Their tactic is to be stingent, because the fact is most people dont fight them. If you think they are not being fair and covering all the damages threaten them with an attourney. If you know an attourney even better. Remember, over your lifetime, you will probably pay them many times more than the valuve of the car. They owe it to you.

 

So sorry this happened to you. Glad you weren't in the car at the time!

 

Haha yea, i live in baldwin park. well I still haven't heard from the insurance yet.
I'm sad about the car but I hope to one day get another one. For now I might just get something bigger.

Well a BRZ wouldnt be such a bad replacement. I was considering to trade my s2k for a brz but in the end I love my honda to muuch. Get a replacement s2k if you cant let go.

This shit is what scares me most about modding cars. All that money gone in the blind of eye, not even anything you could have done to save it. Even though I know yours was minty stock. It just makes me sit back and think.
