Default SOFT TOP TEARS

Anyone who has had a soft top tear that was factory defect please post your pic, state the year of car & mileage of your S2000 when you got the tear . I will be emailing this link to the service manager at a Honda dealership then he is going to email it to the Honda rep. We need to prove once & for all that this is not normal wear & tare

I had pinhole sized tears in the same places as you have. Its pretty common to see.

Please only post your pic, state the year of car & mileage of your S2000 when you got the tear . Also please make sure you can see the damage.. The Honda rep will not pay any attention if there is to many comments & opinions. We need to be straight to the point

thanks

will Honda replace the soft top even if the car is out of warranty? I have a tear in the same spot. Another tear is opening up right below it.

I'm going through the same problem. I have a huge tear on the passenger side just behind the seat, which I believe is caused from the top not folding correctly.

Yes, I do put my top up and down alot.

Mine is a 03 with 68k miles, and I don't remeber when the tear started occuring.
