i have a 01 with 43k on it and i just noticed the tear on the driver side back corner
it sits in the heated garage all winter and top down during the summer and my tear
is getting bigger
i have after market warranty and it says that it does not cover convertibles so would the dealer take car of it?

Yes, I do put my top up and down alot.
Mine is a 03 with 68k miles, and I don't remeber when the tear started occuring.
i also have huge hole and i own 03 with 23k miles... will honda cover it?
2006 S2000 soft top tear behnd passenger seat head area began to appear around 28,000 miles. Replaced at Bankston Honda in Lewisville, Texas under factory warranty.

you have a 07 it should be hassle free for you to replace. I have 6k miles on my 06. The tear is where yours is but hasn't gone all the way through yet. I will be taking it in soon
I don't know why you need this thread to get your 07 top replaced, but anyways.
I don't have a photo but my car developed a hole after about an year of ownership, and I can tell you that my hole is HUGE.
Without any joke, it's about 2 or 3 inches long and I see bright sunlight casting into the interior when I drive in day time.
But yes, I got my top covered under warranty and I'm just waiting to schedule a repair date.
