Some pics of my elise
beautiful car
get us a video of that thing in action!
what are your impressions on the car when it was stock (power, driveability, etc.)? Boosted or not I'm sure it's a blast to drive, I'm definately interested in picking one up some day. I just love the lines on it, it's got such a unique look.

"That torque curve is a lot flatter than I was led to believe by some of the comments on Elisetalk. Very nice."
LOL thats what I've been telling them.. but these guys are among the most close minded people I've ever encountered and I've been flamed over and over for messing with elise "purity" or w/e! Anyhow.. the turbo does not change the feel of the car one bit. The only thing I dont like is that power dip you see when 2zz hits the 2nd cam around 6200rmp. For this reason I'm looking into getting a standalone ecu system in order to lower the cam transition point and hopefully make the transition more smooth. As far as the turbo, we're talking a snail size GT28R here.. the car is on full boost from 2500rmp and the power delivery as as smooth as NA or supercharged car and I've driven both. Stock elise is by no means a slow car, however, despire a brisk off the line acceleration (4.4 sec 0-60), lack of torque prevents the elise from any triple digit acceleration. The car barely pulls above 80-100mph and this is evident in a slow 1/4 of mid 13's. With the turbo, 160mph top speed is easily achievable within seconds of getting on the highway, its so easy to go fast in this things its scary!
Here are some forcedfed videos, keep in mind it takes a while for them to load.
