Your car is soo nice. omg its turboed?! I couldnt tell by your screen name..
That is the nicest S2000, wait a minute... its an Elise! you must've come to the wrong forum. Ahhh, i'm just messing. Nice setup and very clean.
do you find that forced is ok on track as you dont have the on/off power from the NA anymore? and overheating? any probs? i have the VX220 which is from Lotus/GM ad has same chasis pretty much, some uk guys are going SC as a way of forced or keeping it real with throttle bodies to give 250hp NA.
great car though and good to see Lotus over the pond

The exige has better susppension, dark wheels, A048 tires, no air condition no abs, no radio, a big spoiler...
here you have a pic of my friend exige

turbo elise didn't your were in the cover of Sport Compact Car?
"turbo elise didn't your were in the cover of Sport Compact Car?"
Yes, that was indeed a forcedfed lotus elise, same one I have. The company's website is www.forcedfed.com
Forcedfed elise was also tested by motortrend, here is the article http://www.motortrend.com/features/perform...lise/index.html
as well as featured in a recent car and driver superfour shootout, see my other thread for the video. That elise had the 400hp kit though...

Europe also has both elise and exige. They have the same chassis and engine (toyota 4cyl). Exige has slightly different body panels with a fixed roof deisgn (although it can be removed, albeit its not advised). Exige has sport suspension and A048 tires as standard, while it is an option on the elise. Basically its the same car, I personally dont see why they had to make two seperate versions. Anyhow, exige is coming to US next year and will be priced slightly higher than the elise. Base MSRP for elise is $42,000 (51,000 for full loaded), while the base MSRP for exige will be just under 50k. Exige does have air condition, radio, and abs...
To answer the second part of your questions, most elise owners are former miata, mr2 spyder or s2000 owners. All cars are very similar in nature, elise is just more hardcore and track oriented and has much less comfort. Lotus even tried to get s2000's K series engine for the elise, but had to settle with the inferior toyta model because honda's s2000 is a direct competitor. Remember, elise's base MSRP is only 42 grand...

Absolutely no problems with the current setup. Turbo is at full boost by 2500rmp and the power delivery is as linear as an NA car from then on. Just look at the torque graph, very flat and smooth. No overheating issues even though I live in miami. I am happy with the kit, however I will be upgrading it with a slightly larger turbo, water/alcohol injection and full standalone ecu to make 300whp. Some carbon fiber add ons are on their way as well, as well as lighter wheels and michelin pilot cup tires, and maybe LSD along with a lighter aluminum flywheel.
P.S. I will try to fix the pic.. imageshack sucks!
