Default Summer thunder storm+road grime+ !#$%

Well yesterday ended up being quite eventful for me, on my way home from work I had a wreck in the s2000. I had pulled into a rest stop to put the top back up, and was leaving the rest stop merging back into traffic when my rear tires must of hit a patch of recently moistend road grime, because the next thing i knew the rear end was fishtailing and I was in the far right lane of oncoming traffic. After this everything was a blur of motion, with the last manuver I remember making being a desparate grab of the e-brake and a jerk of the steering wheel to get the car out of the way of semi truck. After pulling the e-brake i did get out of the lane with the semi truck, but my change in direction put me into another car that had swerved to avoid me. Afterwards pumped on adrenaline i managed to push the car to the shoulder by my self in only a few seconds. A witness who stopped said that I managed to avoid 3 other cars while spinning. As you can see in the pics my car didnt get it to badly. The other cars driver side door was destroyed. The crazy thing is, we are both insured with GEICO, and both WORK for GEICO. Well here are the pics, oh and everyone was ok, she was treated for some back pain but is doing fine, and I just jerked my shoulder and wrist a bit.

ouch!!

glad youre ok, and that nobody was hurt. if you had hit that semi, it would have been a different story.

from what i can tell from the pictures, the damage shouldn't really be that much to fix. you'll need taillights, and a bumper, and the rear-quater worked on, but, to my eyes it dont look too bad.

just noticed the 30-day plate. how long have you had the car?

be careful out there and have fun!
