Because they refer to the leaf springs in the 'Vette being primitive.

I love the show, I watch the show for entertainment purposes, not for actual ratings. Jeremy Clarkson is very biased, but he does love hondas. I don't think he has given any hondas a bad rating yet. He loves the S2000 out of the whole bunch of roadsters. Richard Hammond always makes fun of American suspension, saying american cars can't turn.

but he said one line in the latest topgear I saw that goes like this.
He blabs on about how british knows roadsters becuase they built the best one, then he says.

"We british know Roasters, so it is in our blood. Today, the best british roasters are....

JAPANESE!" edit: I can't spell sorry.

muhaha

Hilarious, loved how they pushed in the bumper!

It did seem like a sloppy lap run and should have ran quicker, faster then a euro spec evo at least.

So they think Vietnamese are primitive? Stupid, racist whities! First they came and messed up what once was a beautiful, plentiful country, then now they have the nerve to call those people "primitive"? Just look at the Vietnamese Americans and see how successful they are, in both business and ESPECIALLY education.

I think he meant if the Vietnamese were to build a sports car they would start with the Vettes suspension. Sounds like more of an insult to Chevy than Vietnamese if you ask me.

"stupid racist whities" is a funny phrase though.

I'm part Vietnamese, but also have some "whitie blood" in me. All of my family and all the Vietnamese I know are extremely successful in education, business, and life in general. So do not even try to insult Vietnamese.

All they did during the war was destroying the beautiful land. Helpless! Useless!

I'm Vietnamese as well and the comment is fine with me. Vietnam is a primitive place there is no denying it. Don
