Thumbs way up high for MaxGeek comment. But as a professional journalist making analogies of low-tech to race shows his fundamental lack of vocabulary/culture.

[QUOTE=MaxGeek,Aug 2 2004, 09:57 PM] I'm Vietnamese as well and the comment is fine with me. Vietnam is a primitive place there is no denying it. Don

In case you didn't know, Vietnam wasn't poor at all before the war. In fact, it was richer than Singapore, etc. But the war ravaged and tore every piece of the country a part. And what did we get to show for it? Millions of lives lost and a lost war! But anyway, I'm not going to get political about this. It's just very poor taste in using "Vietnamese" as a derogatory comment. If any of you even have a slightest of idea, Vietnamese students are extremely bright; anything but primitive. The war and Communist government made the country poor, not the people.
Okay. This guy's intent on being mad. Let's change the subject.

Not trying to sound obnoxious, but does anyone here realize how the ONE leaf spring works on a Corvette? We are not talking about dual leaf springs off your pickup truck here.

No, I was actually super curious about this myself. I couldn't imagine it working like the dual spring setup like on trucks. Got anymore info on it?

Leaf springs or not it works very well and in the end that's what matters in my opinion. I really like the C6 vette and can't wait to see what the Z06 varient for it will do.

The video was cool but the review wasn't that great. I've learned to take the stigs times with a grain of salt as their testing conditions have no control. Sometimes it'll be raining other times it will be dry etc etc. The drag race was garbage. Granted we haven't seen what the c6 can do yes but based on numbers alone it would take one insane driver in the nsx and/or one incompetant driver in the c6 for the nsx to beat the c6.

Here's a description of the suspension on the C6:

Though the design remains the same as the C5

Let's try to keep this thread on track guys.

If you'd would like to debate the vietnam war or anything like any further please take it off the board and to email. That disscussion doesn't belong in the gallery. Thanks

Back to the C6 Vette and the review

2 wrongs do not make a right. please withdraw you coment about " whitie "
you should not complain about some one being racist, and then use a racist term like " whitie ".
