i thinks it's only a prototype... not sure, but i dont think VW's actually going to put such a car into production... i mean, a real 650HP Jetta GTI?? hahaha....

Actually VWs reliability has improved tremendously in the past few years. I know a few people with the new GTI and the car is incredible.

Also, the DSG transmission is actually better than manual. It's not like any other SMG or similar transmission. It actually has two clutches (1 for 1,3,5 gear and the other for 2,4,6). So the clutch is ready to shift as soon as you shift. It's proven to be faster than manual by a good amount.
