I would like something that uses compact flash since i already have a 64mb compact flash card, but I don't have to use CF.

Check out the Olympus D480.....can't beat it for $400.

If you can afford it, I would recommend any Sony digital camera that comes with a Leica lens.

My Sony Cybershot F-505v has this lens and the pictures are amazing. The camera also has manual focus and a load of other easy-to-use features. Many professionals swear by Leica lenses.

(Also, my camera model is slightly old now, there are newer models like the F-707 that are even better.)
