I have the same bar on my car. I think that it would take some serious force to bend something like that. My peice was very solid.

that sux. i have the same bar as well.

but they are not very flexible once installed. they are designed to resist twist/stress in only certain directions and by the look of the bar, not that direction.

As mentioned above, the bar was not made to take an impact in that direction.

For example... Forged Volk Wheels are strong, but if you hit it with a sledge from the side it will bend. Does that make the wheels weak? No... it means that the wheels are not designed to take that kind of impact.

Same with the bar... when you put it on the car, I can guarentee it will not bend while being used for it's intension. Now... it could bend if the car is in a front end collision... but then much of the rest of the front end will too.

This isn't a quality issue (or any issue) with Cusco... it's a handling issue with the shipping company.

Hi,
I would just like to asure everyone that we would never send a product out in this condition and that we apologize for the state that nrgizeman recieved his package in. Sometimes UPS is rough with the packages but I do not know how they did this one but I can say that the Cusco LAB is a solid product and we stand by the product. nrgizeman please check your e-mail for a e-mail from us so we can take care of you ASAP.
Thanks,
Greg
