window frame tape, any regrets after removing it?

I like the way it looks without the tape. I was scared to remove it at first, but now am glad I did.

Yeah, I can appreciate your "tape-less" S2k. But gray is still a neutral color and doesn't take the eye's focus strongly.

hey rajun asian...is that seriously your license plate?

how much trouble do you get into w/ it?

oh...and how did you get your front plate to mount behind the bumper. Looks like a pretty cool trick.

Heck yes that's my real plate. The only trouble I got into with them was for not having the front one mounted. It cost me $100 in fines.

As far as mounting the front plate; all I did was bent the top of the plate, drilled two holes in the plastic, and bolted it up. You will also need to notch out the top of the plate so it will sit flush against the grill.

i have seen many topics bout this but i still dont know what exatcly you guys are talkin about by removing the tape from the windshield.

There is a thick black "tape" that Honda applies over Canadian/American S2000's, around the window frame.

Look at the frame around the windshield... notice how it is black on stock cars. Underneath the tape, it is fully painted body colour.
