I have to look into the Ricks brackets....I dont know if that is legal seeing that it folds into the bumper while you are driving so that it deflects wind to the FMIC. For people with front plate laws, will the cop hassle you saying its not "readable" when it folds inwards?

i have never heard of cops hassling people for the bracket in california. if he pulls you over say the metal got bent down in a fender bender

$120 is rape btw! here it is only a $10 fix it ticket

Yes, I know its $120 is rape. IMO it should just be fixaticket (write you up, once you prove its mounted in court, the ticket is gone).

Something you should do is bend the plate to match the shape of the bumper. Lose the plate frame.
