Default Yet another mud flap on S2000 ...

got them for $15 @ pepboys. they are good fits. but i am only holding them in place with 1 screw for now (but seems to be reasonably secure). i will definitely try to secure them down with a couple more screws to avoid fly'n-mud-flap.

i still think mud flap has no place on a sports car, but until i have the comptech side skit, they are staying

It looks better than I would expect from Pep Boys. For some reason Yosemite Sam comes to mind...

They look good as for their fit and finish. Looks almost OEM. However, I would never have them on my car. Sports cars should'nt have splash guards, IMO.

I've got those same mud flappers stockae92!! And i'm with you, i'm a clean freak and can't stand dirty cars, especially splash marks on the sides. Those flaps really do their job, however, just a word of caution in case you haven't figured it out already, those flaps will scrape on many road objects such as speed bumps and such. I remember pulling out of an acura dealership and I scraped the flaps, people were giving me dirty-ish looks (probably thinking i'm a moron and i don't know how to drive).

Oh well, i'm the one in the S, they were just onlookers. Watch it!

And the black flaps match quite well with the suzuka blue S, in fact, a fellow owner didn't even notice them until I pointed them out.

Here's a stupid question... what is the purpose of the little flaps that come stock in front of the tires? The S2k is the first I've seen with these and I've always puzzled at their purpose.
