I have an MY00 ap1 and was looking to get some 06+ seats. I was wondering what needs to be done? Do I just need to swap both my ap1 seat and rails for the ap2 seat and rails and it would just be pretty much a plug and play kind of thing? Thanks in advance.

 

not sure if passenger is plug and play. I just did the opposite 2 weeks ago since I have both 01 AP1 and 06 AP2, and I had 2 issues.

1: MY06's passenger seat belt is bolted to the side of seat compared to chassis on AP1. AP1's plastic cover needs to be cut. of course, you don't need to worry about it.

2: MY06 rail slightly different than pre 06, and someone cut a small piece of it to make it fit.

 

It would probably be much cheaper and less hassle to get some Clazzio covers, unless your foam on the driver-side bolster is shot.

 

I did it.. you need AP1 rails to make the Drivers fit and you can use the 06 rails for the Pass.. I have my for sell with my AP1 set up.. PM me
