Default will AP1 seat rails fit on 06+

hey all,

i'm new here , i just got a '08 silerstone =) loving it!
my car came with bucket seats and i'm looking into swapping them out with OEM stock seats. i prefer comfort.

I did a lot of searching through s2ki and google and found a lot of mixed results.

one thing i've confirmed is that on 06+ they added in the airbag sensors on the passenger side so the rails have changed.
some say the "floor plan" has changed as well. I'm thinking that means the positioning of the 4 botls to the floor of the car has changed as well?
At the same time i'm reading some people where able to just bolt down the 4 botls on the AP1 rails without the sensor.

can anyone confirm that if i were to get AP1 seats with AP1 rails, will I be able to bolt down the 4 bolts without drilling new holes into the flooron my '08?
or has anyone done something similar, move ap1 seats to 06+ and not have to do any modifications(just leaving out the sensors)?

any help is appreciated!! Thanks in advance all!

I too have a MY2008 the drive side ap1 rail is the same as the 08's but the pass side is completly diff. you would have to find someone selling an 06-08 pass seat.

Im almost positive thats how it is

thanks rev!

do you know if the AP1 rails will bolt fine onto the MY08 floor? i currently do not have AP2 rails.

i know the airbag sensors will be on because the sensor is missing but i'm fine with that.
from the schematic the bolt positioning looks to be the same for both AP1 and AP2. the difference on ap2 rail is that the bolt holes are no longer on the rail but on the
airbag sensor. but it looks to be the same position.
