Default Aftermarket Seat Recommendations

What are the best options for weekend cruising and an occasional autocross event?

I just purchased a 2003 with tan interior, and I think it might be a good idea to pull the seats and preserve them.

stock seats are pretty excellent for my 6', 150lbs. Especially with the Modifry electronic seat belt mechanism- great choice for autocross.

The Modifry mechanism has been discontinued.

I’m still looking for seat recommendations if anybody else would like to chime in.

So far, the Marrad ST3 is looking good, but I would prefer something that can recline if there are other options for the S2000’s tight cabin.

Yes, sir. Apparently they’re in decent shape for an ‘03, but I’m not exactly in love with the fit for my 6’1” frame, so I’m looking at other options.

If you're just looking for more vertical space, you might look into lowered seat rails. Backyard Special (BYS) makes some.

Given the immense difficulties in sourcing out seat bases, I will probably go custom fabrication here. I purchased a set of Sparco R100 seats because fabric feels better than leather for me personally, so lets see how that goes, will report when and if I ever get this done, have to find a shop that is willing to take this on.
