Default Aftermarlet seat issue

What up guys? I recently purchased a pair of red Sparco seats from another member on here. They are made of cloth not leather. Because I live in SoCal i keep my top down 95 percent of the time while I am driving and even leave it down if im gonna be gone from the car for short periods of time.
Have any off you guys had any issues at all from your seats fading in the sunlight? I am sure since there cloth they will fade easier than leather
Is there any form of protectant to prevent fading?

Get a cockpit cover from Covercraft for $95.

Or don't worry about it and get the seats recovered in the future.

They're race seats. They're supposed to be dirty and faded....

Yes, cloth will fade. You see in older cars, the rear seats are faded since they are the most exposed to the sun. Leather is more resistant to fading since the factory coats them with something, and people generally apply a protectant to it every few months.

You could buy RaggTopp Protectant for Cloth Tops, it has UV inhibitors in it. Not sure how it would be to sit on. You might call the RaggTopp people and ask them.
