Anyone try PerformancePackage Dampened, Weighted and Countersunk Stainless Steel Shift Knob
Just picked this up on Amazon for $39. I see a lot of people buying other countersunk and weighted shift knobs but seen very little about these.
Saw some NSX guys using this one and to be honest, for $39 I don't think you can go wrong. This thing is heavy and definitely shortened throw. It was a little smaller than I expected, but fits well in hand and puts height of knob in a more natural position when my arm is resting on arm rest.
The OEM leather shifter is great too and I resisted a full alloy shifter due to heat absorption. This know came with a little drawstring pouch which I will leave in car to cover shifter if I leave car in direct sunlight. I also like that this eliminates the gap between bottom of knob and top of boot.
Prime had it to my door in 2 days and I also got 4 Super Bright LEDs for my dome light. The lights make a HUGE difference.

Just took a drive.... I didn't think a gear knob could make a difference is overall feel and I am a skeptic by nature, but I like the throw on this thing.
A little slippery compared to leather shift knob, but this one due to size and height feels more natural. Very happy and worth more than the $39 I paid for it.
Plus the LED Dome bulbs I got for $5 on Amazon make my S2000 feel like a more modern car. Amazing difference... who knew. I guess I shouldn't be so resistant to change... LOL
