I have a 2001 and the center console pad it worn out. I want to replace it with a JPM motorworks one. I found that on Ap1's the pad must be drilled off and on the Ap2's it is held by screws and can be easily removed.
Will the center console from a 2004 ap2 fit on a 01 Ap1?
I have not found anything on how to replace the pad on the Ap1 so I figured if the Ap2 console will fit, maybe just get one and send the pad to JPM..

Any info will be appreciated.

 

yes definitely, many of us have been using them for years, hopefully you can find a good used one, they are crazy expensive if buying them new due to the multitude of parts that are needed - they don't sell them as one unit.
