Big guy small problem.
Hello!
I want a S2000 and there is a problem I'm 6'4 and about 275-280lbs. True story I can lose the weight but I can't do much about my height. My question is there anyone that has gone through this problem and can help me by telling me if I need to buy seat rails or do I modify the stock rails so I can sit much lower, I know buy me getting an aftermarket wheel helps but i need a bit more than just a steering wheel. I would think that I can do something with the stock rails to just plant the seat lower and probably removing some panels from the back of the seat so it can go further back?
If anyone has an idea and can help me out that would be great.
THANKS
-Bryant

6'5"-6'6" roughly 215 lbs. Im fine with my crappy random seats(replaced by previous owner, I guess due to originals being stolen) I actually have more legroom with the stock seats, but the stock holsters do hug closely. You should be fine on leg room at least. You can take some of the support material out of the bottom of the stock seats to help you sit lower in the car, there are a couple DIY's on helping taller individuals fit in the S.
EDIT: BTW ap2 tend to have a tad more leg room, 06+ also have a tiny more room.

I removed and rewelded the stock seat brackets as low as i could make them, and bought a 280mm steering wheel. The wheel helps alot.. but it blocks the view of the upper rpms. I too want to know what aftermarket seat sits the lowest and has as much bolster room as stock.
